The 'Famous' Solar Brands in the U.S. Are Not Always Famous Globally

A well-known U.S. label is not automatically a globally elite product, and branding alone rarely justifies a premium.

Many of the brands salespeople present as top-tier names in the U.S. are strong mainly because of domestic subsidy structures or U.S.-specific market positioning.

Outside the U.S., some of those same names do not dominate at all. Meanwhile, highly competitive equipment leadership often sits elsewhere in global manufacturing.

That does not mean American-made products are always bad. It means brand prestige should never be the main reason you agree to a higher price.
