Over time, too many DIY cases failed not because the homeowner lacked effort, but because the permitting rules, approved equipment lists, and communication requirements between components were more complex than expected.

Some people buy batteries and inverters that cannot legally interconnect. Others discover too late that the equipment cannot talk to each other or that cable choices created safety hazards.

If someone still wants to DIY, professional review is not optional. With 240 V power and battery systems involved, safety has to come before savings.
